Motorola Xoom Estimated Worth of US$ 700
Motorola Xoom, tablets made by Motorola’s latest plan will be officially sold on February 17 next for U.S. $ 700 per unit.
Tablets with a 10.1-inch touch screen size that will run Google’s latest operating system Honeycomb 3.0 specifically designed for tablet devices. Memory in Motorola Xoom capable of storing up to 32 GB.
When compared with Apple iPad first generation that has the same memory capacity and equipped with 3G wireless connectivity, Motorola Xoom cheaper price or the difference between U.S. $ 29.
In America, Motorola took the service provider Verizon to market the tablets. At the International Consumer Electronics Show (CES) earlier this month, Motorola declares Xoom tablets will be available in the first quarter of this year and offer 3G wireless connectivity and Wi-Fi.
In the second quarter of this year, Motorola declares Xoom tablets can also up-grade in order to run on LTE 4G network technology.
Motorola’s Xoom stands as the biggest potential consumer rival to the iPad 2 because Motorola is a first-tier supplier that has already competed mightily against Apple in the smartphone market (think Droid) and, more importantly, packs in plenty of eagerly awaited goodies, including: Google’s Android Honeycomb operating system for tablets, a powerful dual-core processor, a high-resolution (1,280×800) display, dual cameras, and lest we forget, the Verizon 3G (and soon-to-come 4G) network.
So let’s we wait for other competitors besides apple tablet. They will coming soon.
