IT Management Service
What role you play in implementing or improving your ability to IT service management?
Are you a visionary? Someone who is easy to enter and start shooting all the possible solutions based on specific needs? Or you are a man of action? Someone who loves getting his hands dirty with “roll up their sleeves and go to the activity that will transform the vision of an art?
As human beings each of us, of course, defaults to be more dominant in these areas more than others, so it will be easier to be a visionary. The point here is good in him to play in both areas, and many consultants, but the important thing is to know what role you play in each stage of implementation. It is important to know what you wear hat and for what reason.
Typically, in the life cycle of application IT management services, it starts with a vision and understanding that you are trying to achieve, as defined and you begin to develop a consolidation plan to your specific needs, you will soon find yourself in transition mode of delivery and before you know that you organize the team (and / or yourself) to start small activities to achieve this vision, and in many cases the vision does is not quite clear.
For a complete clarity the recommendation is to formalize and separate the design and planning of delivery and have a clear demarcation between these transition activities. The reason for this is a clear transition to formalize allows easier progression through life cycle implementation. Another way is to have a formal agreement on the solution before moving on, now that this stuff may seem standard life cycle of the project, but often when you are juggling a mix of people, processes and tools debt available to the nature of management services, priorities can often cloudy, very quickly.
It is not saying that your vision or end the solution should be 100% secure before they can pass through the delivery cycle. What it mean is with the addition of certain stages of life cycle and be aware that you are in the process, and understand what role is played at each stage will certainly help manage the overall implementation more efficiently and offer more chances of success.
