There is no doubt, crime hurts. In the music industry, the worst disease that hurts the music so bad is the piracy. Many artists have decided to postpone their album process, and some of them would rather to postpone the album’s launch just because the piracy freaked them out. Piracy does hurt the music industry. Billions of dollars should be done because of the piracy. The artists and all the persons who were involved to the album’s processes got nothing. They knew that their album was excellent sold, somehow, the income wasn’t express the real conditions. Because of this, almost all sides that were involved in the music industry seemed like losing their spirits to produce new albums. This is serious and it should be handled perfectly before its getting worse. 

We might be wondering; how piracy can hurt music industry? Well, here is the illustration. First of all, the producer appointed an artist or a band to produce an album. It means, the producer should pay the artist. They should pay the artist’s fee and they should be the royalty soon after the albums sold. The producer should also pay for the promotion efforts to boost the selling of the album including the promo tours of the artists. It costs them so much. The only income that the producer could hope was from the selling of the album. The problem is, they might have to face the fact that even though the promo actions have been greatly done and the euphoria of the fans was fantastic, it doesn’t move the total officially sales of the album. That is something strange.

Regarding to the conditions that some fans could even get the album long before the album was officially released; it means there was a leak. That leak is the beginning of the piracy. The persons who were involved in this action would multiply the copy that they got and illegally delivered it. That is the explanation of why, producers couldn’t receive more gain even the songs were become the great booming. It hurt so much and some producers even have to recalculate the business. To prevent some terrible further conditions, they would rather to produce some cheap albums from some cheap singers even thought it could be considered as the low quality album. This is more secure for the producer if the album that they were producing was the perfect album that was matched to the market’s demands.
